Five Steps to Membership.

Joining the Best Western family involves following a set process.

Step 1: The Decision
Personal meetings, consultation phase, and signing the contract

Step 2: The Admission

• First on-site quality inspection to assess compliance with minimum standards, hygiene and maintenance
• Collection of hotel data and incorporation in the Best Western systems (online platforms, GDS, reservation system, www.bestwestern.com and www.bestwestern.ch websites)
• On-site seminar (Best Western philosophy, systems, marketing programs, yield management, accounting, best practices, etc.)

Step 3: The Systems
After passing the quality inspection, the hotel will be activated in all Best Western systems within 7 to 10 days, enabling reservations to be made at the hotel from around the world.

Step 4: The Branding
Within six months, all items bearing the hotel name (printed materials, labels, hotel signs, other personalized items, etc.) must include the brand name “Best Western” (e.g., the Best Western logo).

Step 5: The Quality
Best Western pledges quality. To ensure compliance with the minimum standards, a further inspection will be carried out within six months. If the hotel passes this inspection, the hotel will have only one such inspection each year thereafter. Additionally, the hotel has the opportunity to gauge the satisfaction of its guests by means of the guest survey system, Medallia.
